Every well-dressed man should own a pair of Chelsea boots. A timeless classic, the Chelsea boot is perfect for any occasion, whether you’re dressing up or dressing down. Dack’s Carleton Chelsea boot is a stylish addition to any man’s wardrobe.
How to Wear Chelsea Boots with Suits
Dack’s Carleton Chelsea comes in conker, brown suede and black calf leathers. They go perfectly with a grey or navy suit, giving you that effortless smart look. Always leave your trousers sitting over your Chelsea boots, as this makes for a cleaner look.
If you’re dressing down, wear your Carleton Chelseas with jeans or cords. Go for either a brown suede or conker boot for that laid-back look. Wearing Carleton Chelseas with jeans will give you that cool, casual, “rockstar” look, especially when paired with a sport coat.
The Rules for Wearing Chelsea Boots
There are no strict rules for wearing Chelsea boots. You want to make sure that your colours don’t clash, but other than that, the main thing to remember is that the leg of your trousers should sit just over the top of the boot. But don’t hide them – show them off.
Chelsea boots have been a favorite for the last 150 years, and you just cannot go wrong with them. They're perfect for every occasion, whether you want them for a formal event, for work, or for going out in town. Whatever your favorite outfit is, there's a Chelsea boot to match.

Our standard shoe width is an F fitting. However, in order to accommodate variations in foot size, alternative width fittings are available in certain styles.
Narrow Fit = D width (USA E Fit)
Standard or Average Fit = F width (USA EE Fit)
Wide Fit = G width (USA EEE Fit)
Extra Wide Fit = H width (USA EEEE Fit)
As a shoe increases in size, the length and width both increase. A size 10F shoe is therefore one size bigger and one size wider than a size 9F shoe. A size 9G shoe is a size wider than a size 9F - in other words the width of the shoe would roughly correspond to a size 10F.
In the table below, the 11D, the 10F, the 9G and 8H would all be roughly the same width.
Shoe size | D Fit | F Fit | G Fit | H Fit |

10 | Y | X | ||
9 | Z | Y | X | |
8 | Z | Y | X | |
7 | Z | Y | ||
